Christopher Hanks · Attorney at Law
Christopher Hanks earned his law degree at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, after completing his undergraduate studies at California State University, Chico. He is admitted to practice before the bars of the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I built this practice on a straightforward idea: that most people want a lawyer who answers the phone, explains the law in language they can use, and quotes a fee they can see coming. Whether you're putting an estate plan in place, forming a business, or working through a problem that landed on your desk unexpectedly, I take the time to understand what you actually need before recommending a course of action — and I do the drafting myself.
I keep the practice small on purpose. It means the person you speak with at the first consultation is the same person doing the work, from the opening conversation to the last signature.
“The first virtue of social institutions is justice, as truth is of systems of thought.”
— John RawlsThe first conversation is straightforward and without obligation. Tell me what you're working through and we'll find the path that fits.
